Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
